- Uskov A. Project schedule with work durations presented by LR fuzzy numbers
We suggest using LR fuzzy numbers as work durations in a project schedule. This model allows performing closed form analysis under uncertainty. It results in relatively simple expressions, which reduce computation volume as compared with existing models of work duration (traditional fuzzy numbers or random variables). We derive the expression for the total project duration under a given network schedule and define a binary “maximum” function for the set of LR fuzzy numbers.
- Emelianova J. Exponential stability of nonlinear discrete 2d systems
The paper develops the method of vector Lyapunov function as a unified approach to stability analysis of nonlinear discrete-time 2D systems. We derive sufficient conditions of exponential stability for nonlinear Fornasini-Marchesini systems and sufficient conditions of pass profile exponential stability for nonlinear repetitive processes. These results are extended to the nonlinear repetitive processes with random failures modeled by Markov chain with finite set of states. In the linear case these conditions are expressed in the form of linear matrix inequalities. Finally, we describe an application to iterative learning control design for the simplest model of gantry robot under information failures.
- Zuev A. Virtual four-dimensional environments for human-computer interaction
We review fundamental approaches to organization of virtual two- and three-dimensional environments for human-computer interaction in graphical user interfaces (GUI) design and suggest a design approach to virtual four-dimensional environments based on special visual effects. We also describe functional capabilities and user operation principles of FDC package, which implements an environment prototype.
- Bure V., Mazalov V., Plaksina N. Determination of the characteristics associated with passengers traffic in transport systems
The work is devoted to analysis of statistical model of passenger’s flow between the bus stops. It is assumed that the number of incoming and outcoming passengers are known. We propose a model of estimation of distribution function for incoming passengers among future bus stops. The computer simulations are presented based on empirical experiments.
- Antonenko A., Ougolnitsky G. Incentive management models in electric power industry and problems of their identification
We study optimization- and game-theory-based models of incentives for innovationfundingand for counter-theft control in electric power industry. We discuss topical problems of models’ identification arising in applications. We also provide results of analytical and numerical calculations.
- Shumov V. Social influence model and its application to analysis of state border security
Basing on the review of contemporary approaches to modeling social and informational influences we suggest hypotheses of socialization, rationality, individual choice, comprehensiveness of information influences and build the information representation function. On the basis of the hypotheses formulated and using the concepts of Bernoulli marginal utility of wealth and the Weber-Fechner law from psychology, we determine the specific form of the perception and representation functions for probabilistic- and interval-type signals. We estimate model parameters for three examples and discuss possible applications to state border security.
- Gusev S. Modified identification algorithm of dynamic object using experimental data of nuclear power plant
We describe modification of an identification algorithm of a dynamic object based on a priori information about its characteristics. The object is a nuclear power plant (NPP), which is controlled with the automated control systems of technological processes (ACSTP). We build a mathematical model of a NPP ACSTP understood as a dynamic object and compare the modified identification algorithm with the existing algorithms for objects of this class.
- Sergey K., Anton U., Victor U. Robust control for electromagnet on the base of vortex algorithm
We design vortex control algorithms for electromagnet in a tracking problem. The main feature of these vortex algorithms is invariance property to unmatched external disturbances of the wide class. It is shown that the designed algorithms provide asymptotical convergence of output variables under influence of parametrical (unknown mass, active resistance of a coil, etc) and external disturbances. Simulation results show efficiency of the proposed procedure.
- Melentiev V. Embedding of subsystems limiting length and number of paths between vertexes of computing system graph
We consider a problem of detecting computing system graph components which correspond to the embeddable computing subsystem with respect to reachability and connectivity of its vertexes, and suggest the method of such components’ detection based on projective description of graphs. The approach is illustrated with examples of components’ detection.
