- Kryanev A., Semenov S. Development of modern technology and method to estimate technological level of complex technical systems based on arising technologies
We consider the problem of technological level estimation of complex technical systems, which are based on new arising technologies. We characterize the processes of contemporary technology development, survey known methods of choosing the moment of new technology adoption, and explain motivation for new methods elaboration. We suggest the principle of forecasting basic characteristics of a new technology and introduce the novel method for technological level estimation of complex technical systems with arising technologies.
- Ismailov I. Projection-iterative procedures for approximation of forced oscillations in nonlinear systems
Results on problems of approximation of complicated nonlinear systems regimes and special numeric procedures are described. We study some applications of iteration and projective theory to the problems of approximate construction of oscillation regimes for nonlinear systems, particularly, automatic control systems. We introduce a routine for initial approximation selection in the iteration method. This routine uses a priori information about the oscillation regime we search for.
- Lomov A. Variational identification methods for linear dynamic systems and the local extrema problem
The problem of a large number of local extrema is considered. This problem arises when using «direct» methods to identify parameters of linear dynamical systems with finite-sample observations. A new class of variational («indirect») parameter estimators is defined by the projectivity property of matrix kernels in the objective function. The variational objective functions are
constructed having the number of local extrema not greater than the number of elements in system matrices. We obtain conditions for consistency of variational estimates in the limit of large number of observations of independent finite-length trajectories.
- Tchaikovsky M. Synthesis of anisotropic suboptimal fixed-order controllers via semidefinite programming and algorithm for searching reciprocal matrices
This paper considers a disturbance attenuation problem for a linear discrete time invariant system under random disturbances with imprecisely known distributions. The designed anisotropic
suboptimal controller is a dynamic fixed-order output-feedback compensator which is required to stabilize the closed-loop system and keep its anisotropic norm below a prescribed threshold value. The proposed optimization-based approach to synthesis of the anisotropic controllers is novel.
- Gordeev A., Yurkevich V., Zinoviev G. Research of dc motor control system with multi-level voltage converter
The problem of regulation for a DC motor with multi-level DC-DC converter is discussed. The control system is considered consisting of two feedback loops. In the first one the armature current control for a DC motor is provided by means of pulse-width modulated control for multi-level DC-DC converter. In the second one DC motor speed control is maintained. Proportional-integral (PI) controllers are designed for armature current and motor speed control based on singular perturbation technique such that multi-time-scale motions are artificially induced in the closed-loop system. Numerical simulations are performed in order to show efficacy of the proposed design technique.
- Uskov A. Stability of systems with blocks of fuzzy inference in plant
The technique is suggested of analysis of terrain clearance stability of one class of systems with blocks of fuzzy inference in the plant. Simple and convenient engineering routines are developed on the basis of suggested techniques.
- Voronin A., Kharitonov M. Сonstrained optimization model of organization`s operating core
We suggest a constrained optimization model of an organization’s operating core, whose structure consists of a basic technological module and modules of support facilities. The production function of the operating core is represented as a superposition of Leontief production functions corresponding to each of the modules. We reduce the optimization problem to a linear program with a parameterdescribing operational structure of the core. We develop an algorithm of automatic construction of basic equations for each value of the parameter. We solve the problem numerically for a wide range of model variables and parameters. The proposed model may serve as the basis for generalized mechanisms synthesis of organizational system control on the long time interval.
- Klochkov V., Grivskiy S., Ignatieva A. The role of taxes in ecological compatibility improvement of durable equipment
Mathematical and economical models are used to analyze incentives of durable equipment owners to accelerate its renewal to ecologically pure one. Conditions are revealed when the government has to stimulate acquisition of ecologically safer equipment (even when this equipment is money-saving). Comparative analysis is performed of stimulation discretionary instruments (such as taxation of old goods) and built-in regulators (such as taxation of toxic emission)

We consider the problem of vascular diseases diagnosis and suggest using neural networks for classification of combined thermometry observation results. We show that neural networks are an efficient method of vascular disease diagnosis. The accuracy of this method allows using neural networks in expert systems.

We apply multi-agent approach to design decision-support systems of operational control and technological coordination for distributed manufactures with complex structure. We develop the models and suggest optimization algorithms for operational planning, based on simulation and artificial intelligence methods.
- Parsegov S. Coordinate coupling and hierarchical algorithms in uniform allocation of agents on a segment
New control strategies of uniform allocation of agents on a segment are proposed. Different modifications of this typical formation control problem include double-integrator models of agents
and coordinate coupling. Moreover, a new two layer hierarchical scheme to provide equidistant allocation of groups of agents on a segment is designed.
